Hi all. I am looking at buying a stay and play package for family friends. They live sth brisbane but have already done most of the gold coast so after somewhere a bit different in the greater brisbane area. Maybe even out west? Any recommendations? Thank you

Few sunshine coast places - twin waters, noosa springs. I think Palmer has destroyed coolum though.

The course is still open I think, but the resort has been shut down.

Tenterfield could be a good option. Course sounds pretty good with accomodation on course, bit chilly this time of year.

Is the course at Coolum still open? I stayed there while it was still the Hyatt, lovely resort. Pity though.

I believe the course is still open. If you believe their website, the resort is just closed for refurbishments;

iSeek are still selling tee times, and there are recent reviews on the course;

Played Coolum last September. Conditioning was woeful. Very few staff and really showed on the course. Glad I played it but wouldn't return. Make certain you ask if all holes are in play and if the greens recently sanded. I found out the hard way they wont mention it until too late.
