Looking for high launching, high spinning hybrids - 20/21 deg loft. The kind if hybrid you have a chance of holding a green from 190 out.

Falling out of love with the mp650's and looking for something new.

Notw these hybrida have been trialled and fall into the "too long and low launching" category:
Sldr
Tee cb range
Jetspeed
Adams xtd/ls

Cheers,
Ben

Edit: nothing with offset please, and non pvd face finish a bonus

My new BFF is a 20° Adams Pro with Matrix Ozik white.

It has the flight of a 6i and 190m carry.

Black PVD face though.....

Best hybrid I have hit to date.

The best high Launch #3 I have is a Cobra DWS with an Aldila VS HL.

The Adams Golds are very similar and hugely forgiving, but there is no mistaking the offset at address.

I have no problem hitting any of the Adams Pros high or low, as needed. Have XTD Ti heads, just awaiting shafts, so I haven't tried them yet.

Ditto the Cobras, particularly the Baffler Pros, which are still as good as any of the modern Hybrids I have tried.

I have no issue with the Jetspeeds launch either, about to try some SLDRs (same shaft/adapters as the Adams XTDs).

The Wilson's I have tried are also easy to launch, but the ones I have tried all have black faces.

And too long. Not looking for a mini driver, looking for rain makers.

And I loathe Jetspeeds.

If your looking for something newer try a G25 hybrid, meant to be a little higher spin and launch than the G30

Leaning towards cobra. Rockbottomgolf has the cheaper glued version which has the silver face, which I am trying to get info on.

I found I could hit this high enough to land softly. I play on a fairly windy track and switched this out for a 913 at 20° which is much more boring trajectory.

Not sure it's a total rain maker, softer shaft or more loft may help that, have you thought about going up to 24° perhaps?? ... but definitely can get it up there.

The G series of ping hybrids. Ugly as sin but they go high and land soft.

I hate when people plug their own clubs but my Nickent 3DX Ironwood does exactly what you are asking for.

G25 & 30 look like any other hybrid.

This one? http://adamsgolf.com/Pro-Hybrid/DW-AL105.html Yep, that's the one mate. Got a head off the Bay for about $60, new with HC FWIW. It's ridiculously easy to hit. I have played most of the Adams protos, Nickent and RBZ 2 Tour 21.5 but this current one is staying for good !

Just demo'd a heap of hybrids around Brisbane. Funny telling the sales guy I want less distance and more spin. Most had no answer to that.

Results:
Bio cell not spinny enough.
Fly-z ladies pinky. Great height and spin, but too short and can't loft down. Fitted with men's shaft.
Aeroburner ugly and too long.
Fly-z xl not bad.
X2hot pro not bad but pvd finish.
Speedline S ugly and too white.
R15 ugly and shit feel. Too low spin.

The hunt continues.

I tried that, can't putt from off the green with it, so it's out.

Or a 3i...
I can't generate rain from a foot off the ground.

If it was a "make it rain - 5w style" it would.

I took the new Cobra Fly Z out for a round a few weeks ago. 18*.
Was stupid long. Great ball flight but just hit it way to far.

If you asked on Sunday, you could have had a couple of mandarin coloured Amp Cell hybrids to take home with you.

I am a big fan of Royal Collection JDM woods. I was looking for a hybrid to add to my collection and came across http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-ROYAL-COLLECTION-JP104-FH-HYBRID-HEAD-ONLY-CHOOSE-YOUR-LOFT-/261893187700?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item3cfa0ce874
It appears that RC are not supplying US anymore so the stock is being sold off, I ordered a head and fitted a Fubuki K shaft to it, what a tool, its the best go to club in the bag. This head can be ordered whatever loft required and definately one I would recommend.

There is - took the covert hybrids out today, they have the same shafts as the Mizzies. Definitely a higher launching and spinning head.

Thinking of installing a higher launch shaft in them - Axivcore blue or Aldila NVS and I'll be pretty close I reckon.
