Looking for something different to cure some indifferent performances on the greens (when I manage to hit them in regulation).

Axis1 Golf makes something that looks rather interesting...any thoughts?

Wow. Great feedback from the site. Hope I can see you all for a demo soon.

They do work. Just try it.

Why???

I'm not morally deficient enough to anchor.

Dear Maxis1, I'm in need of a new putter any chance you could bring a Demo to the Vintage to try....

haha, you're easily swayed KJ. I still remember how well you putted with that Scotty NP2.5 at the Cameron weekend... Don't succumb to another fad! Although David Pappas uses one, so??!

One of our tour reps will actually be there tomorrow. He has one in the bag. I'm sure if you ask to see his spinning shaft he will happily oblige.

Well I played the whole weekend with the Axis1 and to be honest I thought I putted well.

My stats show 32,35,37 putts.

I missed a few short ones on Sunday at the vintage, but I had 4 or 5 solid lipouts so putts were close.

The funny thing is that everyone who rolls it doesn't mind it. It's ugly, but it's balanced.

Looking back over my stats, it hasn't (yet) been any worse than any other putter I have used. But I feel I'm rolling the ball better with it

Certainly looks different - does it use a similar principle to the Cleveland VAS irons?

I pushed them well............... then pulled a few, then came up short a few times. I did it all.

No you didn't. So far, nobody has claimed that you shanked one.

I was unable to stay the distance yesterday. Were there any late afternoon putting green trials and demos?

Depends on how far you want to hit it.....
