Best place to play social golf in Brisbane?

Hi everyone.

for all those golfers in Brisbane, I'm a social golfer that plays on weekends. I usually play at Vic Park, St Lucia or Ashgrove but am getting a bit over them. Are there any decent, relatively cheap courses that are good for social golf?

Although it is technically in Ipswich CC (just), Wolston Park fits your description. Howeston is a social course too, but I've never played there. You could try Nudgee also, as they have a course that is mostly used for social play, although it is down to 12 holes or something now, so you have to repeat a few.

Virgina is always a nice course. There is also Keperra.

Carbrook is not bad for $ v condition, Riverlakes and Windaroo also good value

St Lucia was my stomping ground years ago. Always enjoyed it there.

Howeston is cheap ($20), but yeah Carbrook/Riverlakes/Windaroo is nicer
