Prefer to try and knock down a pw or 9i than full gw. Anyone else have such large gaps?

Nope. I'm a bit paranoid about having big gaps at that end of the bag.
I use a 46* or 47* PW (depending on which set of irons I'm using). I used to then go 52*, 56*, 60*, but lately I'm going 50*, 54*, 60*. I'm usually up in the air with what wedges I should carry, but I usually end up having three in there (not including PW). I'm comfortable taking full swings with most of my wedges, but having to hit a full-swing, full throttle 60* (which would be from about 60m out) freaks me out a bit.

I carry a gap wedge, but quite often with knock down a PW as opposed to hitting a full gap wedge. You get a lot more control and don't have to worry about over spinning the ball.

No, next to the putter the 52 is the most used bat in the bag spot.

Yep. Play my wedge from 110 to 80.....56 wedge from there in. Use a 60 for flops only, never full shots.

Theory. I used to play 52 56 60, but always found I could use one of 2 clubs and never committed to either.

Then moved to 54 60 and preferred the less choice.

Since moved to 56 60 as Pacific for me is mostly high flops to HARD greens. 56 gives me less run...

Pw to 56 for me. Just seem to like it. Like I'm a good gage anyway :)

PW, Gap (52), Sand/ lob (58)

Gap is good for 105ish & every yardage in from there. Like leighthebee, I only use the 58 for sand or flop shots, never full swings.

I thought those numbers were familiar, as my 1997 DCI Oversize had a 47* PW and 56* SW.

For ten years, I never knew the actual lofts nor realise there was a 'significant' gap, yet still won a couple of board events. (My fourteenth club was a 64* MacGregor Grass'n'Sand for bunkers and short-sided work.)

PW, 51 & 58
Used to play 54 & 60 but too much gap to pitching wedge.

I used to game 48° & 54° with the Cleveland's.
Now 50° & 56° with the RomaRo's.
I play 1/2, 3/4 and full with all depending on the shot that is required.

Much easier to hit 1/2 and 3/4 shots with PW than full with gap wedge for me too. I have 10* gap between PW and SW!

I've tried PW 54 60, PW 52 58, PW 50 54 58 currently on 47 52 56 60.

I'm going to go back to PW 52 58, keep it a bit more simple. Usually PW=120, 52=100, 58=80 . PW=46*

I carry pw -47* gap 52* sand 56* lob 60*
distance for me are
pw up to 120/125m
Gap 105m max
Sand 95m
lob 80m

I prefer to make full swings if possible but never try and smash the lob wedge just make a good smooth swing

48 PW, then 56 SW for me. On average i find the green, have less miss hits with the PW.

PW - 46, then Gap - 50 and 54 and 58 for me.
PW 120m, Gap 100m, 54 90m and 58 80m.

If the distance is right I'll hit any of them with a full swing, and pretty much always use my 58 inside 80m.

Gap is probably one of my most used clubs, unless I need to throw it up in the air the gap wedge is my goto for chipping
