Just a few holes that make me not fully like Bankstown, 1st is a good example of a good hole gone wrong. Good track, sometimes thinks it is better than it is but seems to be a common fault nowadays in Sydney.

Is Shane Luke still a member and play out there? He plays on 1 leg only and is off 3 i think? Amazing golfer to watch.

I like the first, and for the area its in its not a bad course. Most courses in Sydney are over priced compared to similar graded courses elsewhere

Yes. He is still there. Quite strange at first to play with him cause he drops his artificial limb and hits one legged, great balance

I half-recall that they'll soon be cashed up, after they sell off the practice range.

Not the most interesting course but always in good shape and tee times are easy.

Shane is a great bloke and a bloody good golfer, played with him plenty and he always amazes me how far he hits it on one leg. Putts with an old hickory blade to which is awesome :)

Only ever played it once at a corporate day a few years back. Decent enough track from what I remember of it (which, admittedly, isn't a lot).

Bankstown's solid, but it's no Liverpool:). Conditioning at Bankstown is generally better than Liverpool though. My favourite holes at Bankstown are 2, 5, 8, 10, 14, 17.

Bankstown is a good members course, is nice to play a course and not worry about losing balls in the rough.............. 1 inch off the fairway
