WYNNUM CUP REDUX. SUNDAY June 7. From 7:30

Reviving the Wynnum Cup - again.

Sunday on the long weekend in June, If the ALP don't switch all the public holidays around. We had 24 for the postponed date, lets see if we can match that!

Other than the date, details are the same as before: Cost is $18, pay on the day. Prizes (http://www.bing.com/rewards): Best Nett: $350, Runner Up $200, Gross $200. There are also trophies I think.

If everyone is keen we can have a $10 in comp between ourselves, if we prepay this can be sorted out early.

PeteyD and I played a recon round at Wynnum today. The course is in good nick, the rough isn't very long at all, and fairways are nice and widely mown. The greens were quickish and firm. If this South Westerly continues through the weekend, they are going to be quick and hard.

Nothing wonderful. BillP and Zennon both had net 70 as the best scores I believe.

Yep net 70, a lot of good stuff, but some really terrible as well. Seven on the par 3 5th definitely the worst. Just couldn't get the driver working for enough of the game.

Handicap is at least heading in the right direction again, with 5 flags in 5 games.
