Balls (Golf, that is...)

Need some advice on selecting a ball.

Have traditionally played a commodity ball like a Srixon Q Star, but as my game improves (and am losing fewer balls per round) am looking to try better player balls.

Wedges are chewing through ProV1s, so want something more durable.
Can't get a Srixon ZStar XV to check with pitches and chips.

Try the Z Star? Don't really like Nike balls, or their price.

Anyone got any ideas?

If you can't get a ZStar xv to check, it's not the ball.

Stick with the Q Star, bloody good ball.

Penrith golf factory have the star x & xv's for about $26/doz, not the new spin skin model but the one before which are a bloody good ball

I just ordered 3 dozen Q Stars from Golfbox. $69 what a deal! Heard great things about them, why do you want to move away from them?

Good point! Nothing wrong with them and are amazingly cheap for their quality. They just roll out a bit. And as markTHEblake said it is more likely the Indian, and not the arrow!!!
