Nothing my end ferret.
Ive lost multiple golf related items over the years to aus post (grips/shafts or the like).
Maybe my postman is a golfer and has started a clubmaking business on the side!

Put it in an envelope and chucked two stamps on.

I would say it got caught in the sorting machine, ripped the envelope, and now a postal worker has a well balanced putter.

You may need to send it in one of those little padded bags. Costs $1 for the bag and $2 postage.
