TM TP shafts...tipped?

Anyone know whether TM tip the TP driver shafts before mounting the adaptor? If so how much do they chop?

I doubt they chop the tip for a driver. I believe almost all shafts are designed to be installed without trimming the tip into a driver unless custom ordered to be any different.

Hmmm, im asking because they don't seem to insert as far when they are glued into an adaptor as they do when they are glued into a hozel and therefore would play soft to flex.

There is also the end of the tip to factor in.

Same length with more tip and less butt = more flex.
