Yeah that weekend we play Glenelg in the state final of the race to Bonville the week before I should make that purely on participation

OK, I'll get in touch with them tomorrow when I get home from work.
Saturday 28th (if able to get on - Comp day!?), or Sunday 29th good with everyone else?

HB and Coalesce haven't played there before hence the choice. And agree, Victor is much nicer.

Looks ok at this stage for me, would prefer a comp option if possible also.

Bit of an issue with this ......
Have been in touch with McCracken and YES we can get in to their comp on a Saturday morning, 28th March, BUT we are not able to 'potentially' get a tee time until the Wednesday before giving their club members first dibs on spots! (which is fair enough) I would have to phone in on Weds 25th to see if any times are available and if so when - likely to be 10.30/11am plus!?
Losing interest in this proposal .................. !
Feedback from those that were interested in playing?

That course is not suited to your game; you would enjoy the West course alot more

Not a bad idea and a course that will not disappoint and will in fact surprise some how good it is.
Bit of a hike for our friends way down South so would have to make it a full day trip.
I can play guide around there as it's a course I've play many times.

Better stick to topic of hackin @ McCracken for March.
Waikerie trip when it gets cooler. April should be better.

I'd be up for it, never played Waikerie!
Played Barmera once, (that was one time too many, pretty ordinary!), and have also played Berri a couple of times - much nicer than Barmera.

McCracken is now booked for Sunday 29th March, (the Saturday was proving to be too hard!)
Going by the usual turnout for these days I have only booked two groups, first group off at 8.30am.

Totally outside the spirit of the event, great sport comparing 1st and 2nd round scores afterwards. Rarely do the half-time leaders bring it home

Not at all, probably the opposite! :-)
Was just checking that due to the low attendance that you all still wanted to play.
If nothing changes I'll change the booking to a single group a week or so before.
PS: HMSS76 - be interesting to see how many of the dams/lakes do still have water in them at this time of year?

Since a couple of weeks ago in the pro shop :) I'm sure I've been lulled into a false sense of security by hitting my irons well lately, that will evaporate when I use these!

They are suprisingly more forgiving than you think. Beautiful looking iron that's for sure.

Coalesce: I agree with Wenz; I am yet to find a PING iron that is not forgiving - I think that is one of the reasons why they are so good....

For this exact reason is why I got mine with reg's.....everything else in my bag is stiff, and I've got the clubhead speed for stiff iron shafts but I can relax a bit more and not go at it all the time with regs over stiffs.

Quite the opposite actually. Has been closing the putter head over promoting the draw (more of a pull really) with inconsistent contact off the top half of the face.
