Pennant kick off this Sunday - and it looks like getting an early morning spot at my club when we're hosting a Pennants match is going to be harder than a virgin at a strip joint on two for one night. If anyone else in Sydney is in the same boat, then I thought maybe we might be able help each other out.
On March 1 and March 8, there's no Pennants at my club (Liverpool), so I should be able to find a spot for on OzGolfer or two in my group on those Sundays. I usually play in one of the first few groups, so usually done and dusted nice and early. On Feb 15, Feb 22 and March 15 we're hosting matches at Liverpool - I can get myself and the lads a spot at Livo on those dates, but it'd be later in the morning, round 0815. Myself, and potentially one other bloke, are keen on finding somewhere else in Sydney to jag an early morning tee time on these Sundays. Just a thought, but I thought I'd put the word out. Feel free to PM me if Pennants in Sydney are about to arse up your Sunday morning golf. Cheers, FJ.

Pennant

Melbourne apologist. It has always been called pennants here, I could be arsed what afl punters determine is right or wrong.

"Pennants" is something made up to make choppers in the lower divisions feel better about themselves (even that handicapped rubbish).

Absolutely. I made my major pennant debut yesterday and won my match. I feel better about myself.

I think it's "is" rather than "are".
