Hi guys

I've got a set of forged Bridgestone irons that have seen better days. Nothing on the face, just cosmetic stuff. Scuff marks on the bottom of a few of the clubs.

I've read here some people are re-finishing or polishing their irons? Is that something that could be done to fix scuff marks?

Attached some photos. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks

You can source 3M belts and buffing wheels that will help out, if it's only a couple of clubs then talk to your local Pro if no OG Club makers aren't close by with the gear.

Being forged I assume they are plated/chromed? Be sure to not remove this when buffing etc as they'll rust badly if you do!

You won't get them marks right out unless you get them re chromed.

As has been alluded to surface marks can be buffed out. You don't even need a big wheel or dremel tool; very fine wet and dry paper used by hand will do. However any deeper marks like some of the scratches/gouges on the sole in the pic are too deep to be removed without removing the chrome.
To make older scratched up heads look a little better you can "satinize" polished chrome using steel wool or scourer pad and work in even lines all over the head (not the grooves). This can greatly improve the overall appearance.
