Anyway I said it in the world cup thread I don't care how good Ryan plays for his home club but he's an absolute numpty when he pulls on a Socceroos Jersey....seriously!

Matt Ryan earned some respect tonight, good to see we created a lot of opportunities - and didnt rely on Timmy. We looked better up front when he wad subbed off. No disrespect to the great man

The cricket World Cup for starters.

This soccer event is rubbish. Contested by teams that are not competitive on a global level (not a single team ranked amongst the top 50 nations in the world).

Cricket world cup is the ten best teams in the world. For a sport played by 10 countries at best. The first 20 games are meaningless and predictable.They should play the cricket world cup as a top 6 where qualifying means something.

I thought the ref did pretty well. Plenty of refs would have ruined that game with niggly free kicks and too many cards
