Had my recoils pulled and finally put in some Nippon Super Peening Blues in.
PPGL did all the work.
Pured the shafts.
Swingweighted to D2
GP VDR grips.
These finished up super!
2 rounds of 78's in a row, I've never hit irons better....

Well I was surprised.Was talking to Rodent during the round and these are the lowest launching out of the Super Peening's but I still hit them with a nice med high flight. So easy to control and I don't have to go after them like I did with he Recoils. Don't get me wrong the Recoils are super but I prob needed lighter or softer version?As everyone says with Nippons these are pretty smooth...

I think they are stiffer than DG S300's (I have them in i3 Blade's) and feel heaps smoother.
I tried modus in some s56's but they flew too high and spun to much in those heads.

I have a set of Rmx Tour MB's 14 waiting delivery and 12 Tour Models couldnt decide so got both will sell what ever I dont like. The mbs's are pricey in comparison to the cb's that are well priced imho. Both sets have modus with the mb's have tx x flex. The tour models have 120 s. Never hit any thing other than DG's x100 so will see what happens. Sort of really excited to be playing decent sticks again after Chappy pulls them apart to reassemble wih my specs. Going to try a few different shafts this year now I have some of best heads going. Still trying to work out driver shaft cant decide on a crazy 7.7 or8.2. Wedges are on way with some of Chiba's finest grinds. Shafts on the 52 and 58 s400 ti or maybe even s200 ti going to play my wedges 3 up and irons 2up.The putter is all that I dont know about at this stage. If lambs get over 200 a head Im going over for a fitting! Got to love Yahoo jp!

Seriously consider the Shimada HW120 wedge shafts. So far I'm very impressed, I think they launch lower and spin less than the stock DG Wedge (s200) shafts which for me is great as I can spin the ball more if I need to.

Been lazy of late. Mostly been experimenting with my G30 LS, for every two shafts i throw at it one seems to stand up and make a great driver even better. Unbelievable driver that currently sports a Devotion 7 but will throw various Rogues at it for some fun and OCD stifling. Was also busy sorting an Aeroburner TP 3 wood, took 4 shafts before i found the performance so many are raving about. A KK70x Black of all things did the trick. Another white hot performer and now in the bag. If they come out in a black head i'd buy another and reshaft until it beat the current White. Plenty of toys coming to get busy again with.

Frankenputter.

Started as a Odyssey PT Protype #9 (340g), and stripped the paint.
Wanted to put SS Fatso grip on it, and had a problem before with stepped shafts 'clicking' during the stroke, as the grip is a solid cylinder, rather than stretched rubber. Built up the lower half of the grip with a pack (20g)of 1/4" lead tape from the squash courts.
Went okay (even won the comp), but too much hard work to get distance right, compared to my 380g Rife Barbados 2.0.

Replaced grip with an old SS 2.0, and wrapped a Head tennis racquet around it, to add some texture (and bulk).
Modelled 30g of lead flashing into the flat horizontal section behind the cavity.
Control is good and feels good. Just like swinging a tomahawk.

btw. Annoying similar to the Pureform recommended putter, that I couldn't control. Except theirs was 33" (cf. 35"), 100g added to head (cf. 30g), 60g under top of grip (cf. 20g under bottom) and SS 3.0 (cf. SS '~2.5').

I don't know how you did it, but I guess a tennis racquet would add some bulk and texture!

Knocked up an old school X-Hot hybrid with Attas RK and an XCG7b with Buki 515 both 19*. Also threw a G30 tip on a 7321 and a BB83s into a TP Mini 12*.
