When should I plan to pick up the clubs again and have a swing? Plan so far is to have a practice hit maybe a month out from the champs. Last game was in Jakarta in April :)

I've played 12 holes since the last Champs, most likely won't get a round in until the upcoming champs [emoji2]

Just played 18 holes 5 days straight carrying and bit tired but feeling ok. Did this to see how I would go at the Champs. The 36 holes on the Tuesday as being planned could be a tester. Tenterfield GC is pretty hilly though and there was no supplementry kitchener buns.

I thought you would be planning on finding a single mom with a heart of gold, Jamie Lee Curtis in Trading Places style, and taking advantage of a Friends With Benefits arrangement.

I have a cunning plan that isn't quite finalised yet. I'll send Peps a PM.

I'm also disappointed that Hatchy doesn't have a doghouse. I thought he may have spent a lot of time there.

Thought it might be good for a thread where we could work out where everyone was staying, just incase there was any particular places you'd want to avoid, ie the back of Ferret's car.

Is there anyone in SA looking for a new buggy? My plan is either:

PLAN A:

An excellent Adeladien lends me a decent buggy for 6 rounds in exchange for cash or beer.

PLAN B:

1. Buy the buggy of your choice and have it sent to you.
2. I use the buggy for 6 rounds in Adelaide.
3. You pay me the cost of the buggy minus $60 for the wear and tear of 6 rounds. I will repair any damage I make.

So if Plan B is executed, I get a buggy for the week, and you get a discounted buggy that will be nearly new.

Any interest?

As per HMSS76, yep, I have a bit of a knee issue that has stopped me playing since the beginning of May, and will do so for the foreseeable future! Left knee is totally F#*#ed, and needs replacing - soon.

Here's a happy snap from 6 months ago - it's worse now :( (they should both have the 'gap' between top and bottom leg bones - left one constantly feels like a broken gearbox, quite a few bits floating around and lots of grinding noises/sensations - not recommended!)

Gents: I also have a buggy if someone wants to borrow it - it is like the clicgear but heavier and with a dodgy brake; but is fine.

I also have a reasonably large car (CRV) if it needs to go somewhere

Yeah but, it's not a clicgear though is it??

Lagerlover, you should hit Nadg up for your old Cobra's again!

:)

The above mentioned Cobra SZ's, CB3's, Ci11's, Bio-Cell, Adams 3-wood, Miz or Tour Edge wedges, Scotty, Yes, and Kirk Currie putters, Adams hybrid ................... !? (nothing too recent I'm afraid Peppas :) )

I'm going to set myself a small challenge for all the champs rounds.
I have enough different drivers and iron sets.
Starting from the first round if I don't play to my hcp or better I will use a different driver and iron set for the next round.
3&5 wood, wedges and putter will stay the same.
Where there is no comp round to give me a rating 36 pts will be the marker.

I fully expect to be using a different set each day and will take clubs to change from the Koyoonga to Glenelg round.
