Great choice of shafts, I've got a purple, black, white & gold but they're not going anywhere sorry. I saved money by not going to Pure

I should add I'm after Stiff as I've been using an AD DI 6S I'm thinking that would be fine.

Open to advice on this but do want it to be Oban as I really do like their shafts!

Maybe had you gone to PPGL you might have saved money on buying all the other shafts you have lying around.... JAT?

The shafts I have are by choice, if I read or see something I like, I get it.

How is Jado having shafts any different to you have putters?

Nothing, just saying PPGL have given guys free fittings with no obligation to buy....so if you found a shaft you liked that works your free to go out and source aftermarket.
Deosnt that take the guess work out of trying or buying 5 different shafts cause youve read the specs "might" fit you?
In fact i know guys on here who have had their current driver head "retro" fitted by them with the shaft that was fitted for them, not been sourced by PPGL.
Im as guilty as the next guy when it comes to dirver shafts, just dont need to bang on about it, and PPGL thats all....
Plus i dont have that many putters, seriously....
;)

Sorry for the threadjack LG2012

This isn't bad value at all, might be a bit more spin than the DI6 tho. Jado might compare as i haven't hit the Gold. You could near trade tips or cover the cost of one by selling the Nike on it.

Nor am I, never claimed to be either.
Few guys on here seem to be when it comes to shafts tho..even like to contradict OEM shaft charts which ive found odd.
Anyway, sorry LG12 for the thread jack.
Rant over,.

You missed the point entirely, but it's moot anyway.

The reason people contradict OEM shaft charts is because they have some errors in them. You can take that to the bank. It's a well known fact the Titleist charts over the years have been incorrect for some shafts. They are a nice guide and great reading as long as you realise what the obvious errors are.

Gold is the pick of the litter for people looking for more launch. I have 65 04 in Purple and gold. Definite more launch with the gold, and less stout feeling to boot (not that the purple is overly stout).

Then there's the sexy new Isawa Red at $190 retail and mid/high launch mid spin.

So would you say the Purple is more mid/high launch??I don't want to high,i tee it pretty low with my driver, don't feel comfy looking at it up high!

Purple would be mid. Gold would be closer to mid/high.

Purple in 65 04 feels a fair bit stiffer than an addi 6s. 65 05 I imagine will be a fair step up again.
