Nadg63: Whilst the chips are normally an 8/10 for me, the battered Coopers Pale Ale fish is a straight 10 - best ive had anywhere!

I'm a definate starter for this. Jimmy's at Port Noarlunga is the best Fish & Chips I have had so far. But always happy to try a new contender 8-)

Marcel can have my spot if he wants.

Victor Harbor wow what a great course. First hole sensational but course in general brilliant. Not overly long but a good test.

Anyone visiting SA should play Links Lady Bay, Victor Harbor and Fleurieu while on the south side of Adelaide.

Another enjoyable Ozgolf day.

Sorry TC but Flying Fish Cafe not as good as Jimmy's Port Noarlunga. Was good but Jimmy's still the best for me.

Pleasant day out at Victor Harbor GC today, thought we were going to get wet as it rained the whole drive there, but nope, stayed dry :)

That's about my high point of the day, played less than ordinary, though I did manage a chip-in par on one of the par 5's which to be honest was totally undeserved having been off the fairway/in crap all the way there!

Playing partners did better, they listened to my course tips, (me having played there before), maybe I should have listened to myself :(

Still a nice testing/scenic course though and happy to play there anytime.

Golf is a great hangover cure, plus with your head a bit fuzzy you have to make the effort to concentrate more.

It was another very enjoyable day. With the damp conditions and with the layout being tight and tree-lined, it was like playing back in the UK, and it really helped my short game - I was able to chip close plenty of times, which meant I scored well through all the saved putts (I think I only had 31 putts). I wasn't great with the 3W and I used it quite a lot, so there's still plenty more points out there!

Still, with no wipes, that's my lowest gross score in Australia - 90 off the stick (net 68).

It was also good fun watching TC & marcel hitting their golden oldie clubs. TC's copper Ping Eye 2s looked the business, and marcel was deadly with the persimmons. They both seemed to enjoy the MacGregor putter. I lost count of the number of 2 hot penalties that should have been imposed for the club swapping ;)

Well there was no comp yesterday so it had no effect. I only get 4 double bungers on most courses now, but I'd rather I was playing well enough to not get them
