So what ball are you guys using these days? I have been using pro v 1s for ages and love them I have tried mizunos and TM callaways, bridgestone, don't mind the miziunos and bridgestones but not as good as pro vs JMO, with the dollar going down I am thinking pro vs will go up soon and will be too much. What you guys think?

Vision pro soft 808, best feeling ball I've used I'd say, plus it supports a local company

TM Lethal and TPx. Both great balls that are as good as anything else I've tried.

Willsaaan! (inspired by Sir Top's avatar) Wilson FG Tour; very similar to the Pro V1 in terms of dimple pattern and performance - the only thing that holds this ball back is durability.

I swear by this golf ball - It flys further than the Z Star and has plenty of zip around the greens.

I paid $23.75 per dozen in a 6 dozen deal with Golf Box last year for the old model - happy as larry!

I have been Using bridgestone b330 which are a bit cheaper than prov1x that i prefer. Does anyone know the cheapest place to get new prov1x balls online?

Another z star fan here. Under $30 a dozen... Good all round ball, plenty soft without sacrificing distance or control.

Pro v1, 1x, tm tp5, lethal, z-star... I have finally come to the conclusion it doesn't matter I'm not consistent enough to make a difference. 50 cent used pro v1's from the driving range are as good as anything.

Usually use Pro V1x when I can find them cheap enough. Tried Mizuno MP S recently - underwhelmed. Not as durable, noticeably not as long.

My last 3 rounds were with a srixon z star x, same ball for two rounds, then a titleist nxt tour s (12th hit into a hazard) and a Taylormade Project a for the rest of the day.

For price, the project a is as good as a z star in my books.

Z-Stars!!! Have been comparing them to SR2's this past 2 weeks. The Callaways are more expensive, scuff up way quicker, are about 1/2 club longer with shorter irons for me and take about 1.5m extra to stop compared to Z'eds....stu

Easiest place to get hold of him. Explain what ball you are using, what you are looking for.
Excellent bloke, excellent Australian product.

I really like the z stars. But cannot go past prov1x's especially at $1 each almost new. I never play new golf balls as I lose too many. So I get my prize balls as new z stars so I don't few bad when they get lost and the titleist when I don't win any. Both great balls. The market has come a long way! A lot cheaper now.

In 97 when I first joined a club, I remember balata 100's and the like were $90+ dozen

About to order some Srixon Z-Stars from Golfbox. Not sure whether to go for Z-Star or Z-Star XV.

Currently use Pro V1x, but looking to save $$...is the XV the way to go??

If the distance compares well to the V1x and wedge/greenside spin is good and not excessive, I'll be happy.

Sounds like durability is decent.

Did you get the X's as well??

I'm using TPx and RZN Black's. Cost is the only reason I'm not playing the blacks 100%.

Any love for Callaway SR3?

My coach gave me a sleeve of these to try out not long ago.Feel great off the driver, and also off the irons.Spin seems quite good around the greens, pitch shots hit well also pull up.

I'm a Pro V1 user,but these are good.

Worth a try for sure

The guy at Vic Park driving range proshop told me the numbers stood to identify construction as the SR1 was one piece ,SR2 two piece and SR3 three piece😀

Planning on using this at the SA Champs, I hope you don't mark your ball "Ferrins4champ" as that could be confusing😀

Ferrins

No I changed that order and got TM Tour Preferred. I find that on approaches say with a 9 iron the supersoft will travel about 3 metres further than all the primo balls. Plus it is like putting with a marshmallow.
