Ok, this is a long shot. Does anyone have weights for the Red X5 putter range. I have attached pics of the sole plate, where it sits in.

If no-one has any, I will cut a piece of round bar, or get something machines in the workshop at work.

Does anyone know what metal is heavier, mild steel, stainless or copper etc.

Bits, I don't think there is an actual weight...
You'd be better off jumping on golfwrx or TCC to find out.
I think guys just use lead tape in the weight port???

Yeah have been on the other forums, and word is there is an actual weight. I will just make something and weigh it. I want to add 20g, so a piece of round bar or similar will do.

I agree with Titty, I don't know that there are actually any legit weights. What ever you can get is no doubt aftermarket.

if making your own I would go Aluminium for a light weight addition, then stainless and or copper/brass. Steer clear of Mild steel as it will likely rust up a treat in there.

Specific Gravity of Metals (tonnes per meters cubed):
Aluminium - 2.6 to 2.8
Brass - 8.4 to 8.7
Copper - 8.9
Mild Steel - 7.8
Stainless - 7.7

I have found some great cable pins out of a 11kV plug here at work. It's copper that has been encapsulated in tin. Size is perfect. I will cut a few different lengths and weigh them. 32594

Next time you need to weigh a body down in Moreton Bay, you'll thank me.

I just machined up 3 weights on the lathe at work. 4mm, 6mm and 8mm wide. Off to the post office to weigh them. 32630

They came in at 15g, 23g and 31g. Perfect.
