Hey everyone,
I have the opportunity to buy Titleist 690.CB forged irons 3 - pw s300 gold true temper shafts as well as a taylormade 3 wood for $300AUD. I'm coming back to the game so I would be a high handicapper. should I buy these or go with something else? Thanks.

That's probably your problem mate, u don't get under any of your clubs, u hit down to make them go up. Spend the money getting lessons mate and some game improvement irons like ping g series or titty ap1's.

They are a solid iron, but very old and could probably be had for a touch cheaper if you really looked. Might not save enough to make it worth the effort.
Make sure the shafts are suited to you in both the irons and the 3 wood before pulling the trigger

$300 is at least $100 too much, maybe $150 too much.

Yep, couldn't see these being worth more than 100-150 these days. Solid irons though
