After much time wasting on my part this match is scheduled to go ahead next Thursday March 9 at Liverpool 12:30 tee off. We are playing the comp that day in the last group. If anyone wants to join us just call the Proshop or pm me and we will see what we can arrange.

One of us will make a post that night with the result, 21 marker versus 7 marker, hope I play well !

Didn't take you two that long did it ! Seems it's easier to organise a mid week game than a weekend.

See ya thursday

Should be a great game, i have that wedge to give back to you trung, i hooked the thing, too much offset, although it did feel nice, and i will have my new clubs, not the best time to play with new clubs but who cares, ive played blades before!

Matt
I think it's a great time to try new clubs, whilst you're at it why not go for a different ball and maybe some new shoes as well !!

ill try the blades, a new lady's ball, new shoes that are extra tight, and maybe ill try and hitch hike to the course

Geoff, try not to lose your ball in the bunker like last time, OK? ;)

Well not the best golf ever played would be an understatment, i putted so many times i think i lost count, hit the ball ok but short game was a flop.!!!
the course was not in good condition, so that didnt help anyone, and it was HOT!
The match was won by me 7&6 but this in no way shows how i played.
Thanks to Geoff, Trung and Grant for the game and hopefully better play next friday.
Geoff even helped with my putting and over the last 5 or 6 holes i actually putted well, so thanks for the tips!!!
i had 24 points in the comp.

Thanks for the game guys, I had a real up and down day 5 wipes, a birdie and I had 2 pars. Shot 31 points to win the day amongst us. As the other guys were playing matchplay Trung & I had a match too, he got me 2 & 1.

Scores for the day

Grunt 31
Trung 28
Matt3Jab 24
Zipptopp 8

Also just a note to those who maybe planning to play @ Liverpool in the near future. Don't. Course is in pretty average condition with greens the worst I have seen anywhere first hand.

Yea, the course was crap!!!!

Thanks to Matt, Grant and Trung for making this a fun afternoon even if it was hot and humid. The less said about my game the better, I did manage a couple of good shots but greatly outweighed by the abmissal ones. Stiil the great company made it better than an afternoon at work.

Good luck Matt in the next round

Shall we publish your score Geoff?

Fishman Dan

Does it rival AP's 17?

Grunt

Trung

I've seen the scores, and as Zipp is a friend of mine I won't tell everyone where they are posted.

Matt, I'll send you a PM regarding how to organise your next match, with Coffs Hacker. I played him last year. It will take a bit of flexible scheduling, but it can be done.

So, we can safely say that Golf wasn't the winner today?

Thanks jim, no golf wasent the winner, but the winner was the fact that we organised the game and had alot of laughs walking around the track that is liverpool at the moment.
