hi all,
I've just picked up golf again after about a 5 year boycott due to a severe slice issue. I've been going to the driving range twice a week for the last month and can hit 95% of my shots long and straight off the mats but as soon as I go on the grass tees I struggle. My clubs are king cobras 2 tour models which I've had since I was about 15 (I'm 25 now). any suggestions? I need help. Thanks

In my experience the mats are very forgiving when you are hitting ground then ball. If when you are on the grass you are hitting lots of fat and thin shots, this may well be your problem.

You get away wiyh hitting the ground first on the mat it slides into the ball rather than digging into the turf.
