Anyone done this without personally inspecting the vehicle?
How did you organise payment?
Saw something I have been looking for but is in Alice Springs...Based on the pics I have seen it looks the goods but dubious more about how to pay before I talk to the owner.

Contact a car broker. A local one will probably have a contact in Alice, or find one there. I think all the car brokers network.

Will cost you about $500 for their service. As they will be a licensed dealer you have some statutory protections as well as easier to transport it. Plus a bonus may be that you don't have to pay for it until you pick it up.

Thanks Blakey - It was a bike so not sure about the broker stuff. Contacted him and he had just taken a deposit so is irrelevant now.
