FIBA World Cup

It doesn't seem to be getting much coverage here and I can't seem to find it on either foxtel or FTA but the Basketball World Cup is currently on. I was interested to read that there is a record 45 current NBA players playing across the teams. Even Australia have 4 current NBA players.

Looks like we had a good win!

They were all over them in the first half. Shut down the key play makers for Lithuania and were hitting some great shots like ingles 3 pointer on half time buzzer. Went to bed after that but reading reports things tightened up in second half and they held on for a great win

Australia playing Mexico at the moment on ABC2.

Things I've gotten out of watching the games so far.

1. The refs are shit
2. I had know idea that Brad Newly is in the top ten scorers of all time for Australia.
3. International play so much more physical than the NBA.

Game got a lot better in 3rd qtr. first half wasn't great to watch.
