Welcome to your first for sale thread :)

First word of advice, use prices, even if over the top. Generally the guys do some research using a couple of things:

1) look at ebay.com sold prices
2) Look at Ozgolf prices
3) always add a lowball allowance

Good luck, I like Cg-16 irons :)

Haha he's lost money on that. There's a difference between selling something good and getting rid of it

For low demand clubs, he's not far off the mark. Rbz Tours with top shelf shafts are going for $300.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but there is a lot of disappointment when it comes to selling irons anywhere. Generally only ping and titleist (and maybe jdm that hold value).

Either way, welcome to the pro shop... :-D

No wonder people hang on to their old clubs

Or never buy brand new.

Can't get fitted for second hand clubs

Thats the thing, get fitted and buy custom, and lose big bucks.

Buy second hand for cheap, and need to get modded.

Sucky scenario for some, but thats how it works.

So it works out all about the same?

benno_r

Not really, you can get lie changed for $5 a club.

Nothing wrong with buying new and being fitted except the 75% drop in value of the clubs in a few months. CG16's are a few years old, and were never the hot ticket. You got the supply, but there isn't a lot of demand.

For items with low Ozgolf demand, eBay is worth a shot.
