Looking to replace our split system with anothery, need a reverse cycle and we are looking at this one http://www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/air-conditioners/econavi-reverse-cycle-inverter/cs-cu-e24pkr.html after having just bought a Panasonic fridge.
Any opinions?

I'm interested in feedback too with renovations happening at my place.

We had 2 Daikin systems in our old place, and have a Daikin ducted system in our current place. Can't talk highly enough of them - worth the extra cash for them.

I got a 2.5hp (or was it 3???) Fujitsu in the living room and couldn't be happier. From what I've been told they are a good mid level product.

We're doing some renos and decided to replace our almost 18 year old Fujitsu 2.5hp split system.

The unit was still working fine though, so we decided to get another (bigger) Fujitsu unit.

I have done 2 houses now. 1st house Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (different to Mitsubishi Electric), and 2nd house Panasonic. Panasonic going 3 years strong, and seems a bit cheaper to run. Also found quiet setting runs very quiet, which I like.

Our LG cheapie crapped itself just before the coldest week of the year after about 7 or 8 years. The guy I talked to recommended a Daikin for build quality and said they have better rust proofing (which is super-important in this part of the world). It works well, but it wasn't cheap. About $3k from memory.
