Just interested in if anyone can share any major differences between the two year ranges, currently on the look out for a set of either and not sure if i should take the punt on the 714s when i can get the 712s at a much better price?

I have hit both the 714 ap2 and ap1, and own the 712 ap2.

In my opinion, no difference between the 712 and 714 ap2, the 714 ap1 launch a bit higher, and are a bit lighter than the ap2.

I decided to stay with my 712 AP2 as I couldn't see any difference

Have had 712 and have 714 ap2's and there is not much difference, but have some 714 ap1's on the way, just want a bit more forgiveness.

So if i can get my hands on a set of 712s go for them?
Know one happens to have a set they want to offload?

The 712s and 714s are very similar. I prefer the way the offset looks on the 714 models - it is more noticeable in the MB and CBs.

There are quite a few pros still using the 710 AP2s - I don't know any pro still using the 712s on the PGA Tour. You could probably get the 710s slightly cheaper. Maybe worth considering!
