From memory their open day is Friday. Golfwhang might know.

Looking at this, it appears Muirfield may have abandoned their Open Day altogether in favour of invitation only.

They must be going OK with member use of the course if they can afford to do that.

Steve, if you do get on, you'll find very narrow fairways, mostly undulating, and very quick greens. My memory is that there are two par 5's, both reachable, and a few short par 4's.

Fairly typical Sydney golf really. Oatlands isn't a bad comparison. Cumberland and Carnarvon also spring to mind.

i like muirfield - broke 80 for the first time there (par 70 from memory). some good par fours - rest is a bit hit and miss
