So everyone knows that there's plenty of golf books that have a good rep... Ben hogan, David leadbetter, tiger woods. Anyone have insight into others or easily accessible books as I'm having trouble finding a good one.

Cheers

Four Magic Moves to Winning Golf (Joe Dante) has a good rep.

Harvey Penicks Little Red Book has a good rep also.

I haven't read or own either of these but want to.
I was taught from the Hogan book 5 Leasons the Modern Fundamentals of Golf. I have a few other Hogan ones too in my Golf Collection. Hogan can hard to interrupt and complex, it's not for everyone.
Stay away from all things Leadbetter, The guys buggered up more swings than I have self saucing chocolate puddings (had a few kitchen fails cooking this).

Practical Golf, by John Jacobs. I like the section about identifying swing faults by ball flight. I can do, like all 18 faults.

+1

Tom Watson's Strategic Golf - Nothing about swing mechanics, but how to play smarter on the course.

I keep going back to Gerry Hogan and Harvey Penick. Bob Rotella for the head stuff (or inner game of golf).

Will chase up the Tom Watson book, sounds great. Golf By Design by Robert Trent Jones Jr is good for understanding a course designer's thoughts.
