Wow some good golf played there today. Gavin Flint 8 Under  . He was on fire early was 4 under after 3 holes. Will have to see if he can keep it up he played well last week also.
Michael Long hit an albatross on a par 5 :-P , he shot 6 under with only one birdie. He had an eagle as well. Apart from 3 good holes he could have shot nothing.
Will be some good golf over the weekend.

you'd still take the -6 though :-(

I went for a couple of hours early Thursday. Greens hard and fast, fairways not particularly narrow but plenty of thick natural rough if you do miss them which will penalise.

Some tough golf out there today. Leaders looking at finishing at 8 under maybe. Last groups really struggling. Spencer Levin +5 & Gavin Flint +3 for the day.
Nick Flanagan had a great round a 66 to come right into it tomorrow. He is in the clubhouse at 5 under. He was in the 2nd group this morning gone from almost last to top 10.

If this is a Nationwide Tour event, where are all the Yanks? Lower placings? Or not much of a turn-out?

Grunt

They all failed miserably in the end, I guess not playing on a stadium course got them in the end.

there were 70 yanks, and 72 aussies at the start of the week, and aussies came out ontop, because we rule!!
and we know how to play courses that are tough and not baby them around with big nice greens and wide wide fairways.
ok, so i suck at golf, but ill still rip into them, they wont read it ;)

How bad is Wayne Riley, everything he says seems to have some semi-funny (to him anyway) line built in. I think he's spent too much time in the booth with Jack Newton.
