I am looking for any brand in either 54 and/or 58 degree wedges, bounce doesnt worry me on the 54 but i dont want too much on the 58 do i can lay it open.
Remembering i am a poor uni student, id rather buy second hand than new but let me know what you have.
I also therefore will be selling my other wedges which are:
#1 Cleveland 900 RTG 56 degree 8/10 condition, grooves still great.
#2 Cleveland 588 Chrome 60 degree 7/10 condition, very playable and grooves still great, minimal chrome wear.
Offers accepted on both.
I cant sell these unless i have replacements so if you want to trade thats cool too.
otherwise ill put them on ebay to pay for the 54 and 58.

Matt,

I have a tour issue box groove TM RAC 54* wedge 12* bounce with DG S300 spare. It is in excellent condition.

You in Sydney?

Cheers,

ok, just have come back from olympic park, got my wedges bent, and found out a few things about my clubs.
i now have a 53 degree 900, i bent it 2 degrees stronger, it was 55 at the star, reads 56 on the wedge.
i also bent the 60 degree to 57.5, it was 59 when i started.
the shocking thing i found out was my iron lofts are quite strong, my PW is 46 degrees!!! argh! but meh, its working for me at the moment, and i tried the new wedges out, and i love the flight from each.
the 53 is a great chipping club, and the 57.5 can be laid right open, so its a great combo!

if you have soft forgings, get the lofts checked regularly as they do tend to move.

I played my new hogan blades for 14 months before having them checked for the first time and my E (PW) had gone out to 50* ! and my 8 and 9 irons had identical lofts....

well the ta3's arent forged, but i guess i give them a good whack!
i just want to stress that anyone in sydney looking for a good place to get stuff checked out or even shopping there, the guys were the best golf sales people i have ever met and nothing was too much trouble, once i found out a 1 was off, he check about 5 or 6 of them to make sure it the set was ok.

Agreed. Mick and Bruce at the store are great blokes. Very helpful indeed.
