What setup would you want to purchase???

i have yet to compile my own wishlist...but has anyone figured this out yet?

yeah, it's a "wood-like" hybrid, that's already being used by a few Titleist staffers. They're also bringing out a forged driving iron called the 503i. Here's pics of both...

Sure did but they are gone. Sold them and bought i5's (Why I dont know) and hated them.

The MP32's are a great club but i found the long irons a bit tough. The j33 long irons are unbelievable. So easy to hit! Short irons are good but not as good as the MP32.

Bit of a balancing act I guess.

The Bridgestone range at the moment is pretty damn fine.

Well basically I can still purchase a driver this year. Yes Jamie is selling one with a damn hot shaft on it... but its damn heavy too. I rather spend on something I can use.

but... am now looking for the right 34" or 33" putter... I'm thinking about the AGSI Monza Corza centre-shaft, YES! Sophia, Scotty Del Mar 3.5 or Napa.

Putter shaft lengths still need work, but haven't played enough to know. The mid sur's only just been reshafted to 34" so it will probably come down still. I think somewhere between 32" and 33" will be the final mark.

3 wood could change but since I hit all 3 woods bad why bother. And I like having something oldish in there. It's also got a really nice head shape, deep enough for off a tee but with a nice sole shape for off the turf.

I really don't know what my dream setup would be. If ability was not a factor (yeah right:)) and price was not a factor, then guess I would have to systematically try every piece of golf equipment there is to make a decision. Since price is not a problem then I would give away all the stuff I didn't want :)

I believe that would only take me about 60 years to achieve :)

If I where to change my irons, it would only be for a nice set of cleveland blades, but saying that the 690's couldn't knock the Ravens out of the bag, so it could be a similar story with the Clevo's.

the 704's seem to have a larger than standard head size .... so i'm guessing:confused: the 775's aren't quite as big.

Love my driver, 3 wood and wedge set.

If I could choose anything I would probably replace the Precepts (even though I can't fault them at the moment) with some Taylor Made TP Forged irons.

I would even look at knocking the old faithful Ping Zing 2 out of the bag for a nice TM double bend Monza Corza.

Still waiting for Ernie's talent...... but anyhoo, I'm getting closer to my dream setup. Replace the 704's with 755.CB's. They look solid, yet forgiving. I think next year there'll be a 460cc version of the 905S, so I'll take that too when it comes out. I won't say no to more forgiveness. Might even look at a slightly heavier driver shaft next time around, too. Something around 80 grams...

As for the rest, probably the driver I have now, the 3 wood I have now with a better shaft (although the stock shaft goes pretty well), the hybrid I have now, and the putter I will have next week. As for the wedges, I've always liked the idea of using same wedges as the irons, so I'd probably get a couple of CG10's (in black pearl to match the irons above).

The exact same clubs as I have now, except I'd change a few shafts. An Ozik Tp-7x for the driver, Tp-7x fairway for my smoothies, and Speeder 904hb shaft for the hybrid. Also Black Golds for my Mp-32s which I would like to have done in a custom nickel satin finish with custom stampings/offset/grind.

Nope, just want them raw and rusty......No fancy treatments, just get the chrome off them so they'll rust like Pampling's CG1's.......

I'm thinking I might get it done next week after the Southern Open.

Yeah, it's the 2* open head. The "C" head is the VJ 5* open model.

I sold the Altus, I loved the shaft but just could not get that head to launch high enough.......Switched to the FT-3, but just found the HiBore to suit me best (Sounds like I'm one of the only guys that it does fit). I went Code 8 in the fairways because I like a heavier shaft, but am not strong enough to swing the HK-110 anymore :)

I'm looking forward to hitting the Creation. It sounds like it's going to get a lot of play next year on TOUR......Supposed to be very stable and tight. Not the longest hitting shaft, but very good if you hit it long and wrong......

Personally, I really like the look of the HiBore XL.looks the goods in real life too 8) rather large at the rear, much like Serena ;)

Personally, I really like the look of the HiBore XL.

The Hibore XL does look pretty good. The black finish seems to disguise the shape also.

I talked to a couple of guys who are going to put this into play in the next few weeks (one of them being a Titleist staffer with a 13 club deal. They are not happy about it). Just as straight as the original with a little more pop for most guys due to the new COG placement. Try it with a Diamana White Board, thats supposed to be the shaft that matches it best........

i'd like to upgrade my irons at some stage in the near future ... thinking of checking out the Bridgestone CB's when they hit our shores ;)

A certain ozgolfer accidentally bought some MP30's last night, so there's either gonna be a set of Bridgestone J33 combos or MP30's for sale in the very near future!

Maybe. I'm looking at a SuperQuad as well, not sure which is going to be the one for me. I really like my HiBore and from what I hear the XL is an improved version. I'll definately have a look, especially at the right price ;) I'd say it's currently 75% HiBore XL 25% SuperQuad...........Who am I kidding, I'll end up with both and see which one works best......

i was more referring to a couple on instances this past weekend where your trusty hybrids took my $$$. trying to block it out, but not happening.

But with flat bar and front suspension it wouldn't be fast! And it's got an electric motor so it's cheating! I'd still take mine for about US10k with sram and zipp wheels.
