No he passed out at track work a couple of weeks ago. Diagnosed with viral encephalitis. Turned into Norse syndrome (never heard of it before ) but when I read up on it didn't sound good.

Just married went to Singapore on a 4mth contract. Then this.

Couple of weeks ago would have been living Singapore and looking forward to riding a solid chance in the slipper. And then all of a sudden his life has passed right by. Shows how quick life can change...

Absolutely horrible at 23! Hopefully Tommy, the schofields and his good mate Christian reith all ride in his honor on Saturday and all get home a winner!

Yep very sad day for the racing industry. Horrible way to go out for the young fella. Hope his brother rides a 100 group 1's in his career.

I had no idea it was that serious, I read the paper this morning and couldnt believe it. Fit young bloke, newly married, seemed universally liked, just terrible. RIP

Heard Pumper talk about it on 2KY this morning.
Will be a somber day in the jocks change room tomorrow....
