Hi All

Yesterday I played @ Wallacia as some of you may know. Well I shot 40 points, with regards to the ccr being 66 with a par of 69. That means I will lose .9 off my handicap right?
The ACR for the course is 68

edited due to me making a mistake

I will be wrong but I would say only 0.3

par 69 (40 points 4 under) net 65.

ccr 66 so one under ccr above 20 you lose 0.3.

If the ACR was used eg a small field (under 20) then you will lose 0.9
my guess

This is correct, Grunt. With 40 points, you effectively played to 65.

3 under par is the lowest CCR I can ever recall seeing. Anyone seen lower?

The CCR at my home club is quite often 3 under. Check my golflink.
And it might even go to 4 under midweek when they play off the whites.

The CCR should only ever be one less than the ACR. If the ACR is 68 then the CCR should be no less than 67, unless changes to the course allow something lower ???

The highest a CCR can be is 2 more than the ACR.

When we played at Riverside Oaks last year the CCR was 3 strokes higher. That round started my rapid descent in H'cap as I shot 36 points for the day.

1 below the ACR and 2 above the ACR, i used to manualy do the cards and work it out at my old club when i was working there, and they were the rules i were given.
