Mine happens every time I try to reply to a thread when I press submit or discard, then it freezes. It even freezes when I go to a different app from tapatalk.

I've just been running with all the updates for YouTube uninstalled.

Yeah, for some reason I have on old version on my phone and the new one on my tablet. The tablet looks a mess but I'm getting used to it. I'm gonna transfer a copy of the version from my phone to my tablet. They seem to have forgotten the benefit of it was that it was simple, and looked simple.

I am disliking the new update - I generally just go with the unread tab, but they don't offer the option to view participated threads (that I could find anyway). Really liked that feature on the old one.

I think you can still get to this - on the main page for the forum, it is the @ symbol (as opposed to the weird wifi looking symbol in the middle that apparently means unread)

Yep, it's the @ symbol for participated threads. How you'd work that out I don't know. I accidentally pressed on it after a few days and found it, by fluke. Was much easier when they just said 'unread', and 'participated'.

Yeah, reviews on google play haven't been pretty. Happy if there's more functionality they want to add. But the whole point of it is is spose to be a simple easy way to view and interact with forums. They made it anything but. The previous layout worked fine I thought.

That's actually a completely different app, not an "older version", that is now discontinued / pulled from the App Store. The only way Andy would have access to that is if he owned it previously before it got pulled.

I don't have the paid version, but when you are on the main page for the forum (where you can choose between icons for trending, timeline, unread, subscribed) there's a menu button at the top right of the screen, and "Join or Sign In" is an option from there

That happens to stop you spamming the forum with lots of posts in a short period of time. The numbers should count down and eventually turn into a reply button

I get email notifications for PMs OK. I just don't get any push notification/chime for PMs/quotes etc. like I used to. And no notification in the notifications bit of iOS either.

Maybe a plugin update happened or maybe Tapatalk themselves did something and stopped notifications for Pro. I just read that it had been retired for ages but I kept using it because I like it better than the new one.

Only the ones loaded by a mobile device.
I can see all on my mobile.

I can see the image above on my computer without issue, so I don't think it's a problem that is affecting everyone. The image is being loaded over SSL, there are no SSL errors on the page, so it's not an issue with mixed SSL/non-SSL content.

Maybe clear your browser cache?

I've just cancelled the forum subscription to Tapatalk. The site budget is a bit too tight at the moment to give them money for their bloatware, just so I can turn off the forced Tapatalk signatures when people post.

This shouldn't change the way you use it, except seeing those signatures. I have set my own Tapatalk signature to blank lines anyway, so it doesn't add it every time. If you did that too, it would be great.

This won't kick in until the current subscription period ends on Nov 5.

Constant ads for their VIP service, which would get rid of ads. It doesn't take much to accidentally click on one, and send you to a payment screen.

I paid for a VIP a few years ago, then they turned into a fully free app, so that membership got removed. Now that they have introduced this membership again, the previous one counts for nothing.
