These drivers are commonly referred to as the "Holy grail" of drivers .... very solid feeling.

Believe it or not I was the inventor of the term "Holy Grail" for the 300 Tour and when I first trotted out the term I was'nt referring to any loft in particular.

I thought it was 8*, but then thought all TM's were rated in .5's.

So to re-submit my question - with your statement - I thought the Holy Grail was limited to an 8*?

From memory it was back in 2002, before BSG.I spotted a 300 Tour on Ebay back when they were as rare as rocking horse sh!t,posted it on Golf Opinions and some guy paid $1400US for it and the name stuck.
