The differences so far in the dealings I have had with HR in my new and old employers. I have to say that from what I have seen so far with my new employer is that they seem to have the whole HR part down pat. Hopefully this does not change after I commence working for them today.

It's HR, they will be all over you until you actually need something useful from them.
