Nick Faldo early wrist set

This is just awesome, really improved my ball striking and wrist hinge plus turning the shoulders well. Definitely in the top 5 drills for me on youtube (and I've seen a few)

Easy setup and focus point for eyes

This helps setting up 100% the same 100% of the time, so simple and so effective

Again, definitely in the top 5 drills for me on youtube (and I've seen a few)

Helped me with feet position with the excellent feet together then move out steps, closing the face of the club at address, club well behind rather than right behind the ball, meaning shoulders are open not pulling to the left.

Really helped reduce fading with the driver too

Here's Nick Faldo rock skimming video drill

This stopped my shanking on iron play - yep that's right, this has been huge for me.

Also definitely in the top 5 drills for me on youtube (and I've seen a few)

It reminded me and helped me visualise what my coach taught me, to release properly which would fix my shanks. 28minutes in is the skimming drill, but this entire video I found was awesome and helped me with a few key areas

need to find something to help, just got my new clubs and seem to have a biggggg fade cranking, frustrating, when i bought them i test hit them and for years ive always had the ball a little foward in my stance as it felt natural. fella helped me and told me the ball was a little foward and to bring it back, since doing so when i hit the ball it starts straight and them slowly fades off to the right, Frustrating...

Close the face more? One of those drills I posted helped me lose a lot of fade

I know almost nothing about this game but I watched a few "grip" videos and it has straightened me out enormously and I was looking everywhere else for the solution, just a thought

sure does, thats why ive gone back to my old ways, its so stupid. even closing the face more it does it, i think when i come down i open the face with the ball in the middle of my stance, ah well haha.

Nothing wrong with playing the ball a fraction forward in your stance, in fact, you need to with the mid to long irons. It gives time for the club face to square up.

yeah i know its normal for woods/long irons to be there, but im like it with everything including putter, bar wedge shots. all gezzy just have to keep going range and trying things lol

Yep just keep trying things until you get it right, and stick to what a coach says.

I find Rickard Strongert's videos on the Videojug and videojugsport channels some of the best I've seen, for example:

Serrz, the other Faldo drill I posted where he was skimming rock's over water helped me a lot with releasing. I got the shanks for about 7 weeks and this was one of the drills that helped me release properly, hence curing the shanks

Actually before I get to releasing, I need something to help with the downswing. My hands keep going forward instead of dropping down, so my ball flight is blocked left or a slice....

But quite happy with takeaway after the Faldo drill...

Yes it's a good drill and he is good at explaining it all
