Anyone interested, I'm having a hit here tomorrow.

Love to mate, but some of us have to work. Do you want to do an early morning bolt up Mt Coolum this week?

$85 seemed a bit rich for that course.
Petey and I paid $45 a couple of years ago, plus $20 each for the cart.

They give you six 'golf balls' too. Srixon.

Reminded me of Parkwood on the Gold Coast. Only upgraded. I enjoyed it.

The balls can't have been as good as the deep fried platter we were supplied with (and I think Petey left them to me for eating).

Good review. I concur (never played it either). My next drive south is Pelican, so it looks like it will be another drive by for me.

Hot Damn! Toughen up all those easy greens they have there!

With the fancy new slope rating in place, will it get rated harder?

I mean will the course get "sloped" harder for cored greens?

The DSR should take care of that.

I have a theory that the winning scores, especially in B&C grade, go beserk when the greens are cored. It hold true more often than not.

Agreed, higher handicappers handle slower greens better than faster ones. Also the sand coverage will reduce the break on the putts, so it is mostly a case of, bash it at the hole and hope for the best.
