Who will you be voting for?
I have a few that immediately spring to mind, but I need to go through my collection to confirm.

I was hoping that this was the Taphouse's 2013 Hottest 100 beers thread. I've had 100 new beers, but probably haven't heard 100 new songs.

I just rode home in 37 degrees into a 40kmh hot north westerly. I would make the Hottest 100 right now.

I dont think I have listened to jjj in 2013.
From someone who was an absessive jjjs man from its first day in Canberra, I am now realising I am old.
I also found my big day out 00 hat the other day. It was a lifetime ago

I agree that 'Royals' & 'Get Lucky' will be at the pointy end, and I suspect 'Pizza Guy' by Touch Sensitive & 'Young & Beautiful' by Lana Del Ray will be up there too.
My votes:
Daft Punk ft. Julian Casablancas - Instant Crush
Goldroom - Embrace
Haim - Strong Enough (Like A Version)
London Grammar - Wasting My Young Years
The Naked & Famous - Hearts Like Ours
The Preatures - Is This How You Feel
Pyramid - Wolf
Rudimental ft. Emeli Sande - Free
St. Lucia - Elevate
Touch Sensitive - Pizza Guy
Stuff that just missed the cut:
Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky
Cut Copy - Free Your Mind
Haim - If I Could Change Your Mind
Austra - Painful Like
Dizzee Rascal - Baseline Junkie

James Blake's 'Retrograde' is another awesome track. That album has had high rotation for me last year.

Listening on delayed WA time. The Wire is the worst song ever and should never have received airplay on JJJ. So disappoint.

Kite String Tangle, Artic Monkeys and Daft Punk had the best songs this year, IMO.

It was the highest selling single on the ARIA charts for 2013, and got a buttload of airplay on Triple J as well as every radio and television station. It's non-offensive. Was always a pretty good chance of winning...
