Is there any other shot going to better DC68's hole in one at 17 Hope Island?

We need a countdown ...

3. The Castaway's attempt to take out a railway signal at Mt Broughton.
2. Marto's opening shot at The Glades.
1. Shavey's bin shot, that didn't touch the sides.

If we are going to drag down the vibe of this thread Dotty, we would need to include LeftyHoges shank in the WA Champs while leading ..

This is the shot of the year thread.

If you want the "Worst reaction to a crap shot of the year" thread, I would win this hands down.

But it's not.

Feel free to start your own thread.

I got my first putt close on 18 at Royal Pines.

Shut it down mods.

Did this get awarded last year? ...

Would have had to be DC's chip in at Pelican in 2011 ... but 2012?

Maybe JC's drive at 11 Kennedy Bay that hit the top of the fence pole and landed middle of fairway ... Or Shadesy's second shot to 18 in the WA Champs at KBay ...

Or Jacks sublime wooden 3 wood into the wind at Binningup at the par 3 9th to two feet ..

My 4 iron punch on 10 at Southern GC from 160 to 10 foot to start the comeback against Iain. I was dead and won the hole from nowhere.... It started the comeback from five down after nine to Confederate victory

How about my drive on the opening hole of the VIC Champs 1st round? 8)

55m of straight right bounce to break Shadesy's little heart.

Come to think of it, Hoges might just nominate a similar shot this year, that broke his little heart. ;)

MrBluu tee shot on Palm Meadow's 18th.

That only gets nominated as jammy git shot of the year. Slightly ahead of Courty's tee shot on 7 on Saturday.

MrBluu tee shot on Palm Meadow's 18th.

That drive started with a pop and landed with a pop

virge's pitch over the trees at the 14th or 15th or so at kogarah after badly spraying a wedge (i still think it was a shank:) ) right and dead...

he had absolutely no shot (ive been down there before) and didnt really even take too long in flicking it up over the trees and everything else off what could not possibly have been a decent lie and down it came right on line with the cup, narrowly missing the unlikeliest of threes and running off to 7 feet or so...

in fact it's virtually the only shot i remember from that day with the exception of the wedges i played from 60/70m into the first two that resulted in me starting 6-6...

Anyone can do it the second time around ... that would be like DC holing out for par on Hope Island 17.
