Broken the hundred barrier recently?

Acknowledged the crowd at square leg and point? .. Blown a kiss to the missus and then kissed your helmet?

Tell us about it here ....

I probably would have myself had it been a stroke round at Royal Pines ... lucky it was only stableford ... and it wasn't in a comp, so it didn't count.

Are we allowed to dob in a mate? Is that within the spirit of the thread?

Spirit? I'd bet my port one that is the intent of the thread :)

At least give them 48 hours to come forward ...

Last Wednesday as seen in the WDYSTW thread. Double hit a putt and double hit a punch hybrid. Lost 3 balls. Pulled hooked driver when normally I ghey fade it. If I could do this at cricket I would be thrilled. Instead I made 20 odd again.

My 91 at Busselton may as well have been 100, and it sure as shit felt like it.

My other 91 was at RM in 70+ km/h winds with a 5-jiggle on the last, so really shouldn't have been. So I'm not counting it.

My last one was about 8 weeks ago. I play at Nudgee so it's not really that tough

I don't expect anyone that plays nudgee to post in this thread ...

I checked golflink, and not in the last 400 games.

A 98 in a stroke round at Kooindah Waters in July is the closest.

Going by golflink i have raised the bat once in the last 4 years, 100 on the dot so would have got to raise for the gallery on my very last shot of the day. Ughhhhhh

I haven't raised the bat in almost 600 recorded rounds since 2002.

My name is Ben and it has been #$%( knows how long since my last confession.

Unfortunately I do know exactly how long it's been since I raised the bat. And it wasn't that long back...

1989, nett >100 off 5 on home course fine weather. Was just a normal shitty day but clocked up 40 strokes in 4 holes and one of those was a 4. Hit 9, out of bounds on the other 3 holes. I just had a tin cup moment and refused to aim left.

WTF, what's shooting a tonne got to do with me. I just had 8 shots better at Harvey than my last round. We can't all be sub 80 players within 12 months. I know I'm not the best player on tour by a long shot, but give me a ****ing break. It's a work in progress

I included a smiley, and didn't intend to offend.

This is what we love about golf and the handicapping system, and why it has dragged me back to the course for the past 30 years. Someone with a 20+ handicap can raise the bat, but still have 30 stableford points, easily beating an A grader taking 80 strokes.

Embrace it, while you still have the high(ish) handicap. It's all about the journey, and not the destination.

Sorry, my bad, I thought you were having a crack at me, score/post wise. Plus I've had about 15 exports, so, I apollogise for being so snappy.

Ah ok, it's more than defiantly lost on me then. Drinking too much export make shorty a bit dim.

Haven't had one since at least the 90's but that's only 55 rounds. Been close though with a very solid 99 at Hamilton Island.

Mid October. Stroke play round at The Vines. Had the princely total of 105. Not surprisingly, about 10-12 of these strokes were from the beach. The worst part is I only went in 3-4 bunkers.

Sounds like you played quite well from the bunks by your standards. I'll bet you got the sandy in the end on the 4th attempt.

No bats for me in Aus. Two 98s over the years where I gave up on rounds, completely packed it in and then panicked when I saw the ton on the horizon. One of them came after a 75 in the first round of a big two day comp that had me sitting near the top of the leaderboard after the first 18.

I'm glad OG rounds aren't official golflink comps and therefore don't count. Haven't raised the bat in 18 months :)
