I've found a bit of info on the Callaway archive site for the old S2H2 Big Bertha driver I used and loved so much in the 90's before I jumped on the titanium band wagon.I can't seem to find any specs (apart from playing length) for the the Aldila RCH 90 firm shaft that was in it.I'm interested in weight and torque for the tip as I would like to find some thing close to that to try as an experiment.Anyone out there have some info to help?

Have you tried contacting Callaway direct?. They were a great shaft for their time.

It looks like they were around 88 grams in weight for stainless drivers and off memory stock callaway's were all around 6.0 of torque which was great back then. They recommend Aldila vx shafts as a replacement. Hope that helps.

Found this, which sits right with my memory of it

Callaway Big Bertha with RCH-90 shaft:
Club length = 44"
Swingweight = D0
Weight = 11.9 oz
Torque = 3.5 degrees
Frequency = 236 cpm Regular, 245 cpm Firm
Design swing speed = 75-85 mph Regular, 85-95 mph Firm
Note that this is for the CLUB, not just the shaft.
I'll assume that you're as capable as I to go through tables of shaft
data and pick something that's similar, once you've worked backwards
to get a proper shaft weight.

Lower torque maybe, 2.9* by the looks. The RCH 96 was 3.5*

Thanks TNO.

Found this tonight, must have typed the right search words as I haven't been able to find this page before.
