I am going to get something like that too. I was just going to make my own net, but I dont think i could buy materials for less than the price of that contraption.

I've got one of the 8 x 8 flat nets that I use with the optishot, like this one

It was Drummonds, but if the haven't got them I am sure I have seen them at the golf warehouse type places. I've had mine for a few years now.

Ben, I have the same thing, $50 p/u on ebay

I ripped the plastic target off and hung an old heavy sheet....

The plastic drop sheet is very noisy - can't use it at night. The blanket sounds better.

I initially hung shade cloth on the kids's old A-Frame swing set. Had a couple of people use and it was a health hazard if they hit any part of the metal frame.

I'm thinking about either of these:

I also have a True-Strike mat.

Thinking about the Optishot too - Drummond have them for about $500.
Rockbottom has them $379.

No idea about optishot, but I have put up one of these in next to my shed outside http://haverford.com.au/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50_59&products_id=382&zenid=309463fe73b1b71621df8a486a763258

Might cost a little more, but why do half a job :)
