So what would be your ultimate choices for champs venues?

There's no money limit, no travel limit and so on except for perhaps the obviousness of Australia...

It would be interesting to see people's thoughts.

So what would your top 5 'wants' be?

Mine:

1) Bonville
2) Royal Pines
3) Sanctuary Cove
4) Cairns
5) Hamilton Island

Griffith Golf Club.

Make it more fun. Griffith, Ardlethan, Ariah Park and Barellan. That will get the punters in!

If you are going to Ardlethan then you should go to Murray Downs. Do any forum members have a connection with MD?

Now your thinking!
You'd have to throw Narranderra into the mix...

Narrandera used to be a good course. Now its broke, dry and cactus (although I haven't played there in probably 4 years now)

I have played 100 rounds at Leeton, but never played Griffith.

Add 9 holes at that 9 holer out of Byron and it would be supreme. **** knows it's name again. Good fun course though.

Be difficult with my original (apparently clownish) course selection.

Ellerston. ;)

Realistically, we need to find somewhere most can fly to, including the Sesame Street mob.

We do a Bonville-Coffs weekend for 50 and book out the Aquajet Motel in mid-November. (Half drive from Brisbane and half from Sydney, with a couple of plane catchers.) ps. Coffs Harbour has the same downpours in mid-November as SEQ.

Those of you putting Bonville on your wish list; be prepared for disappointment.

Played it 4 times in October 2011. Was a big letdown after all I had read and heard about it. The greens were in quite a sorry state, with large bare patches on most of the greens. I think playing every shot off a hanging lie was another thumbs down for me.

I put it in the Palm Meadows category of golf courses.
