Good to see everyone will be entering the comp. At least I suppose that is what this thread is for.

I won't be playing comp Thursday/Friday, 4 days of comp in a row is for professional golfers & retired bankers.

Considering how often they've found scoring discrepancies on the returned score cards, I'd say no :)

I wouldn't play in the comp if I was you either Popper. Once false move and you'll be down to 6.

How can someone get DQ'ed for the wrong handicap, if the committee don't know the right handicap?

They are selling the information to employers to reconcile against sick leave requests.

Dismissal is cheaper than retrenchment.

The NAGA is a pretty prestigious award.

I would say at least 1/4 of the cards have a scoring error. Points where they shouldn't be and not enough given. Checking scores is a normal part of a comp so why shouldn't score checking occur here?

If you guys use Gamebook rather than scorecards the points take care of themselves. It worked perfectly in WA.

Question .... if someone puts you in the comp without you knowing .... and you go out and have 40 points .... do you put your card in?

You don't have to. Rules of golf say you only have to record the correct number of strokes on each hole.

Or for a second t-shirt, Popper will do it for you. ;)

It takes less then a minute to check hcps and the stab is an automatic allocation so you just have to enter 18 numbers so hard

It's like playing a tiebreaker at one set all to decide the match in Tennis. It is pissing with the seat down stuff.
