View Full Version : What is a original set of AP2 worth?

I am debating if it's worth selling my set of original AP2 with project x 5.5

They are in good condition for age ( small amount of diming on 7 iron) and are 3-gap wedge.

What's the Ozgolf or eBay value of these? Not sure if to sell or keep in car as a practice set when couldn't be assed carrying staff bag.

I would have thought $200 ish for average condition. Better will go a little higher, perhaps $250/$275 at the top end.

I am still playing mine, even though I own newer versions. I always seem to drift back to them. For a forged set, they seem to stand up to use better than some.

Keep them for practice.

Dave I would be interested in the wedges, if you would like to part with them

I would say anywhere from $200-$300.
962s are still getting anything from $120-$200

Keep them as a practice set much better idea.

Hi Steve, I don't think it would be worth me splitting them.

The gap wedge is a 710 version that I bought new for $150 2 years ago, if I got rid of the wedges the rest would be un sellable.

That's fine, was just looking for a PW to try thinking of dumping the 48* vocy

Aim a little higher on Gumtree and see how you go.

You wouldn't leave $200 sitting in a box in a garage, declining in value as time goes by.

You could probably get slightly more with those shafts.

I think with the gap wedge I could get more, but 3-PW with px 5.5, I first thought $250. I wouldn't mind keeping the gap.

I would think you could pull $250 easy with a little patience, without the gap wedge.

The majority of people would prefer their own gap wedge.

You could probably get decent coin for the gap by itself if you ever wanted to sell it, surely more than including it in the sale.

Yep, I tend to agree.

I might list them here first at $250 3-PW, then try other avenues later.

Not desperate for a sale at all, but I guess you are right it's better than sitting in a box.

It is Gumtree. I'd list at $275-$300 and then allow myself to get bargained to $250 ;)

Thanks for the advice.....

I am great at buying stuff, crap at selling stuff

If you list them on gumtree list them for at least $300 everyone wants to barter with you that way you will get your $250.

Should get $250 on ebay alright if no browning on the faces. Might even get a bit more.
