They look like good speed golf shoes.

Ok. So 18 holes done and my feet feel like I could walk another 18.

In fact I liked them so much I've asked my enabler to see if he can order me a pair in blue.

I was thinking that I should try and pay attention to how they were feeling on my feet but really I just wore them and didn't notice anything.

Andy - I was thinking that very thing today, they'd be perfect for your speed golf. They'd probably be lighter than your running shoes.

If you can grab a pair at a good price, give them a go!

They wouldn't be much chop in the wet, but even in bunkers and what not they're fine.

I remember seeing them on Golfbox and being intrigued by them. Thanks for the recommendation. What's the sizing like?

Any chance you could weigh one Timah?
Btw, the leather string bag tie works beautifully. Thanks.

True to size I reckon. I bought my normal size and they fit well. Maybe a little 'wide' in the toe, but not terribly noticeable.

206gm per shoe by my scales Matty.

Good stuff. I was thinking I might try a braid on one too see.

I reckon the woman to whom I'm not related by marriage really really wants to buy me a pair of these

That's 100gr less per shoe than my Adizero's, which are regarded as the lightest golf shoe. Great summer shoe by the look of it.

Were regarded ;)

There is a non mesh version which is supposedly a bit more impermeable and marginally heavier.

$99 is about the go I think.
US eBay is about $80 delivered.

No idea Ash. I guess so?

This is the only pair of FJ's I own. They're a 9 (extra wide though.)http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/02/y5y8u5um.jpg

Great shoe. I've been wearing mine for quite some time now. Very light, and feels so much more comfortable.

Having said that, I personally think the 'drop' you get in wearing these shoes is significant enough to mess with your iron shaft lengths.
I used to wear Footjot spikes and going to these I am standing lower because of the way these spikeless shoes are designed.

I'm sticking with these though for a longgg time until something better comes out.

Sure. But you'd just pick one of the other 5 pairs of shoes I own.

Like you and Scotty covers :p

I ordered these last night only to look at my pro shop catalogue, which was in my inbox, this morning and see them 10 bucks cheaper. Doh! I'd much rather the money go to the pro shop.

So apart from wolly pk, where else in Brisbane/Gold Coast is stocking these?I don't know that it is actually at Wolly Park. The catalogue was the On-Course Golf Shops catalogue, so there should be a fair few of those around at golf clubs, including Oxley.

Correct, Drummond has them. Definitely have the orange, not sure about white, and I'm having to order the blue...

Drummond had orange and blue and I'm in Darwin! They were also around $89 or something. They were cheaper when it was scanned into the register. The sticker price was around $130.

Two different choices for lace colour in the box. Nice.

My first impression after putting them on is that the heel feels very low.

Bump also for SirTop...

I won't be running in these. They are lightweight and look great, but they don't provide the support that I would need for running.

I need to wear them in a couple more rounds of walking to decide if they suit my fussy feet. Just the one walking round and one cart round in them so far.

timah!
24th November 2013, 10:34 PM
Fair enough! I thought they would have been a good match for you and your speed golfing...

I wore these for the first time today and they're great apart from the lack of cushioning on the soles. Not a deal breaker though

timah!
6th December 2013, 04:14 PM
I didn't think they were that 'under cushioned' at all after walking 18 in them. Will see after tomorrow's round though...

Another crack at walking 18 in these today. Felt the last couple of holes but that probably says more about me than the shoes. No worse than any other shoe. Decent socks helped.

They are, however, worth every cent in the heat. I can't imagine any pair of shoes feeling better than these did today.

Bought a pair of these for Christmas
27941

Played a few rounds in them now. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

Used sizing guide on website that suggested 9.5 U.S. would be 8.5 Aus.

Bought the 9.5 and fits my 8.5 foot perfectly.

Yep, I wore mine on Sat and can't imagine walking on a hot day in normal golf shoes.
