I've decided to sell my Trackman II. It is the coolest golf toy but I'm looking to see if there are interested buyers. I bought this about a year and a half ago for approx. $16k. Looking to get half of that back if anyone is keen. It'll go on ebay once I get home from US but just throwing it out there to see if there is any interest.

Thought about seeing if one of the local pro's or the driving range wants to buy it?

The plus side of me buying this would be how often I could use it after my missus left me for spending the house deposit... Very nice Jono , I hope someone picks this up!

Are u doing a last session before it goes??? I'll try but pretty busy at the moment. I can probably get $10k on ebay but if I can get a quick sale on ozgolf, I'm willing to go with $8k. One thing I should have mentioned ... it is pick up only. I want to show that it is in working condition when the transaction is made. I prefer cash on this one but bank transfer will be accepted. No refund once it is shown to be in working condition. I'll check when I get back to Australia but I'm pretty sure I still have warranty on this.

Jono,

How far do you need to hit the ball in order for the trackman to accurately calculate path, distance, etc?

Peter, trackman tracks your ball, not just calcaluate the flight like some launch monitors. If you hit a tree or something it will calculate the rest of the flight. It is considered by many to be the most accurate at doing this. You can track 20m pitch shots up to your drives.

Sorry, poorly worded question. I know you can set it up outdoors to track the entire flight, but I assume it can also be used indoors when hitting into a net?

Thinking about whether I could set it up in my garage.

Thinking about whether I could set it up in my garage. Yep, that's what I had set up in my garage. You need 3m of ball flight and you use reflective sticky dots to get the spin rate. Much more accurate than any other indoor launch monitors, IMO and pretty close to the results you get outside.
